My Story

As a Texan native, I have always had a passion for education. I took American Sign Language and second language pedagogy classes to become a certified teacher at Lamar University. I taught at Boles Independent School District in Quinlan, Texas, for eight years. When I went to Gallaudet University in 2023 to earn my master's degree in sign language education, I knew I would be able to help even more students.
